Abstract
Sans vouloir minimiser l'importance des limites liées au contenu de la Loi sur l'équité salariale ou au fonctionnement de la Commission créée à ce sujet quant à la mise en œuvre et à l'atteinte de l'équité salariale, nous croyons que l'organisation même des relations du travail au Québec lui impose des contraintes encore plus profondes. La mise en œuvre de l'équité salariale se réalise dans chaque entreprise et doit composer avec les relations du travail qui s'y sont installées. L'atteinte de l'équité salariale, qui constitue somme toute un droit fondamental, a été prise en charge par les rapports collectifs du travail, ce qui n'est pas sans conséquence pour les travailleuses.
