Abstract
Résumé L’évaluation des politiques publiques est devenue, ces dernières années, une pratique courante dans de nombreuses démocraties occidentales. Toutefois, en étudiant les histoires nationales de son développement, il apparaît que les processus d’institutionnalisation de cette pratique empruntent des cheminements différents. Cet article présente l’influence du système politico-administratif sur ces processus d’institutionnalisation en Belgique, France, Suisse et aux Pays-Bas. L’institutionnalisation étant abordée dans une perspective dynamique, les variations observées dans les différents pays sont également analysés. Afin de répartir les cas étudiés, on propose une typologie des configurations institutionnelles qui tient compte de la finalité et du degré d’ouverture des dispositifs mis en place.
