Résumé Les dirigeants de PME ont aujourd’hui accès à de nombreuses formes d’accompagnement pour les aider à mieux gérer leur entreprise. Cependant, ces aides visent surtout à résoudre des problèmes techniques à court terme et prennent rarement en compte la nécessité d’une approche fondée sur la personne même du dirigeant. Dans cette optique, le coaching entrepreneurial constitue une voie des plus prometteuses. Cet article vient d’abord préciser les spécificités du coaching, pour ensuite explorer et vérifier la nature des facteurs susceptibles de contribuer au succès d’un tel mode d’accompagnement. Les résultats obtenus suite à l’analyse de six études de cas de coaching sont enfin présentés.
