Abstract
La fonction ludique du langage s'avère très importante dans l'économie des oeuvres de Réjean Ducharme. Les jeux de mots assurent, en effet, dans l'Avalée des avalés et l'Océantume , une déconstruction systématique des référents socioculturels. La destitution du signifiant-maître détermine le parcours narratif des protagonistes, alors que la défaillance de la métaphore paternelle infère sur le plan figuratif une structure psychotique, elle-même objet de dérision. Entre le ternaire oedipien et le quaternaire de l'inconscient, jouissance interdite et jouissance impossible de la Chose soutiennent une pratique subversive de l'écriture.
