Abstract
O presente artigo propõe uma discussão em torno das possibilidades de uma educação ambiental queer. Tornar queer a educação ambiental significa mais que simplesmente adicionar conteúdo gay/lesbiano/bissexual/transgênero à educação ambiental, mas visa, em seu projeto, problematizar a heteronormatividade, a essencialização das identidades e a heterossexualização de nossas teorias e práticas. Apresentamos neste trabalho uma breve introdução à pedagogia queer e apontamos como a educação ambiental pode contribuir de maneira singular para a interrupção da heteronormatividade e para a problematização da identidade e da experiência. Também exemplificamos esforços por um ambientalismo queer em novos movimentos sociais e produções culturais.
