Abstract
Le passage de la génération spontanée de l'dxcov païenne à Ia réélaboration chrétienne de Ia filiation introduit dans la structure de l'image un bouleversement dont il s'agit ici de prendre la mesure en comparant l'image plotinienne et l'image augustinienne. On montre comment saint Augustin reprend le cadre néoplatonicien tout en bouleversant la signification, notamment en inscrivant Végalité comme cas extrême de la ressemblance. Avec Augustin, un mouvement tout à fait nouveau vient modeler le rapport de cette image qu 'est notre âme au principe dont elle vient.
