Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

With a sample of about $227\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs recorded with the BABAR detector we perform a full angular analysis of the decay ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}{K}^{*0}(892)$. We make novel measurements of five parameters sensitive to $CP$ violation. We also measure the branching fraction to be $(9.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.5)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}6}$ and determine the fractions of longitudinal and parity-odd transverse contributions as ${f}_{L}=0.52\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.05\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.02$ and ${f}_{\ensuremath{\perp}}=0.22\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.05\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.02$. The phases of the parity-even and parity-odd transverse amplitudes relative to the longitudinal amplitude are found to be ${\ensuremath{\phi}}_{\ensuremath{\parallel}}={2.34}_{\ensuremath{-}0.20}^{+0.23}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.05\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{r}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{d}$ and ${\ensuremath{\phi}}_{\ensuremath{\perp}}=2.47\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.25\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.05\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{r}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{d}$. We also observe the decay ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}{K}^{*0}(1430)$.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
