La création d’aires protégées entraîne une modification des dynamiques territoriales. Ces modifications ne sont pas sans conséquence pour les communautés voisines des aires protégées, les bénéfices n’étant pas nécessairement redistribués équitablement entre les différents territoires. À partir d’un cadre d’analyse, inspiré de la justice environnementale, nous aborderons la question des impacts liés à la création d’aires protégées et plus spécifiquement celle des relations entre le Parc national de la Guadeloupe et les communautés de sa zone périphérique.
