Abstract

底質性状に応じた干潟生態系の機能の特徴付けを目的とし,一次生産を担う底生微細藻類および分解・無機化を担う微生物の代謝活性と底質性状を示すパラメータとして特に有機物含有率との関係について調査した.その結果,干潟堆積物のTCによって生産,無機化および炭素固定量の特徴を4つに分類することができた.0.05% < TC < 1.2%の底質の干潟で生産・無機化が大きく,炭素を固定する傾向がみられた.また,150μm < D50 < 300μmの底質で藻類の生産量および現存量がともに大きく,この範囲が生産能の高い干潟に分類できた.さらに藻類由来の有機物が干潟堆積物中の易分解性有機物,微生物の代謝基質として重要な役割を果たしていると考えられた.
