Abstract
Bien que la citoyenneté politique ait été reconnue aux femmes burkinabé depuis 1956, leur présence dans la branche exécutive du pouvoir d’État reste limitée. Cet article dégage des traits caractéristiques des femmes dans l’exécutif burkinabé. Il illustre que, bien que la compétence technique soit un atout essentiel pour accéder aux plus hautes fonctions politiques et administratives au Burkina, celle-ci doit néanmoins être soutenue par d’autres éléments. Est aussi abordé le rapport que certaines de ces femmes politiques entretiennent avec le féminisme.
