L’objectif de cette communication est d’analyser les modalités de l’introduction du paysage végétal dans les images de destination à l’usage des espaces insulaires tropicaux. À partir des exemples de communications et d’aménagements réalisés aux Seychelles, à Maurice et à La Réunion, nous proposons une réflexion sur l‘intérêt et les conséquences qu’implique l’investissement du paysage « vert » pour les économies insulaires dont le développement fait une part importante à l’activité touristique. Quels enseignements, les expériences india-océaniques peuvent-elles apporter au contexte de la Caraïbe et des Guyanes et réciproquement?
