Abstract
Pour donner suite à son Livre vert sur la politique familiale de 1984, le Ministère des affaires sociales a mis sur pied un Comité de consultation, qui a tenu audience à l'hiver 1985. Des orientations divergentes ressortent de la consultation : nataliste, fiscaliste, féministe, d'expertise, familialiste conservatrice et familialiste libérale. Le Rapport du comité prône le soutien collectif aux parents et mise sur la solidarité entre les sexes. Il n'endosse pas les orientations natalistes, fiscaliste et conservatrice, optant pour un familialisme libéral sympathique à l'expertise et au féminisme. Les recommandations ont été critiquées par des intellectuels pour leur manque de réalisme, et par le Conseil des affaires sociales et de la famille pour leur manque d'attention aux incitatifs fiscaux.
