Comme dans les autres domaines où il investit, le Qatar a trouvé dans les révolutions arabes une formidable occasion de déborder ses étroites frontières pour se projeter sur la scène internationale. Si le maximum de visibilité était l’objectif principal de l’implication de l’Emirat, on peut estimer qu’il est largement réalisé. Mais son soutien privilégié aux mouvements islamistes aiguise les critiques tandis que l’effectivité de son influence reste discutable dans des dynamiques très mouvantes.
