Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We report on a search for the standard model Higgs boson decaying into pairs of $\ensuremath{\tau}$ leptons in $p\overline{p}$ collisions produced by the Tevatron at $\sqrt{s}=1.96\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$. The analyzed data sample was recorded by the CDFII detector and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $6.0\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$. The search is performed in the final state with one $\ensuremath{\tau}$ decaying leptonically and the second one identified through its semihadronic decay. Since no significant excess is observed, a 95% credibility level upper limit on the production cross section times branching ratio to the $\ensuremath{\tau}\ensuremath{\tau}$ final state is set for hypothetical Higgs boson masses between 100 and $150\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$. For a Higgs boson of $120\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$ the observed (expected) limit is 14.6 (15.3) the predicted value.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
