Abstract
Concu dans le cadre des commemorations Canada-France 2004, le portail www.archivescanadafrance.org est le fruit d'une collaboration exemplaire entre des equipes de specialistes francais et canadiens, qui a pour ambition d'offrir au grand public, comme aux chercheurs, les sources d'archives numerisees concernant l'histoire de la France au Canada. Grâce a des technologies de pointe, le portail propose une base de donnees de pres d'un million d'images, tandis qu'une exposition virtuelle retrace l'histoire de l'etablissement et du maintien de la colonie francaise au Canada. Des produits pedagogiques et genealogiques devraient completer le portail et attirer des publics specifiques, tandis que l'integration dans la base de donnees d'images numerisees se poursuivra grâce a de nouveaux partenariats. Entre dans sa deuxieme phase en fevrier 2005, le portail www.archivescanadafrance.org represente un remarquable effort professionnel pour mettre au point des reponses scientifiques et technologiques a la question des memoires partagees.
