Abstract
Ce texte reprend la section IX sur les enjeux d'un rapport d'étape d'une recherche en cours sur La privatisation des services de santé et des services sociaux au Québec en 1993 (Vaillancourt et al., 1993). Les principales conclusions de ce rapport d'étape ont été livrées en séance plénière par Yves Vaillancourt, lors de l'ouverture du Colloque sur la privatisation dans le réseau de la santé et des services sociaux tenu à Montréal du 11 au 13 février 1993 et auquel ont participé 350 personnes. Les sections centrales du rapport d'étape portent sur la privatisation dans l'hébergement des personnes âgées (section VI), dans les services à domicile (section VII et dans les services concernant la santé mentale et la déficience intellectuelle en contexte de désinstitutionnalisation (section VIII). Ajoutons que cette recherche en cours amènera la production d'un rapport final à l'automne 1993.
