Abstract
Les trois cent trente-six lois d'intérêt public adoptées sous le premier gouvernement Lévesque, de 1976 à 1980, sont analysées afin d'établir le degré d'interventionnisme qu'elles manifestent. Les lois qui sont considérées les plus interventionnistes sont celles qui vont jusqu'à régler les relations entre les acteurs sociaux, dans le public, et qui concernent le statut plutôt que les ressources ou les pouvoirs de ces acteurs. Dans cette perspective, le gouvernement Lévesque s'est montré de plus en plus interventionniste, de 1976 à 1980. Son action législative a profité surtout aux municipalités, aux travailleurs, aux agriculteurs et aux contribuables, alors que les professions et corporations, les propriétaires et les employeurs ont été défavorisés par les lois.
