Abstract
Dans le cadre de cet article, nous proposons une réflexion sur la citoyenneté sociale et politique des femmes qui avancent en âge au regard du référentiel du vieillissement actif et de la logique « d’activation » qui le sous-tend. Après avoir présenté ce référentiel, nous exposons quelques déconstructions qu’a subies entre autres le modèle marshallien de la citoyenneté moderne en ce qui a trait à l’inclusion des femmes et d’autres groupes sociaux en marge des conceptions classiques de la citoyenneté. Nous discutons enfin des fondements théoriques d’une citoyenneté empirique, ancrée dans les réalités diversifiées des pratiques du quotidien caractérisant le vieillir actif au féminin ainsi que des enjeux méthodologiques que soulève une telle perspective.
