Abstract
Cet article retrace l’évolution de l’imaginaire civique polonais, de génération en génération, depuis l’instauration du régime communiste en 1945 jusqu’à la défaite, aux élections présidentielles de juin 1995, du héros de Solidarnosc, L. Walesa, en faveur d’un jeune président ex-communiste, S. Kwasniewski, converti aux vertus du libéralisme démocratique. Continuités et ruptures dans la représentation de l’espace civique sont examinées à l’aune des positions adoptées par chaque nouvelle génération de jeunes citoyennes et citoyens, confrontée à la dynamique de transitions écologiques ponctuées par des revirements politiques majeurs.
