Résumé La France et le Québec accordent tous deux une grande importance à la promotion de la santé des jeunes. Cela passe par une politique de développement de l’éducation pour la santé en milieu scolaire. Toutefois, les démarches diffèrent profondément. Au Québec, il est possible d’impulser la mise en œuvre de programmes intégrés d’éducation pour la santé à partir des écoles en lien avec la communauté. La France, quant à elle, privilégie le développement de l’éducation à la santé en s’appuyant avant tout sur les structures et dispositifs spécifiques au milieu scolaire.
