Les oeuvres dites numériques sont paradoxales et leur description reste un pari difficile à tenir. Elles mettent en jeu des tensions, des différends qui déstabilisent nos habitudes esthétiques. Certains concepts développés par Bergson, et déplacés par nous selon une méthode anachronique peuvent-ils nous permettre de mieux cerner certains régimes de l’interactivité? Le premier fil est celui qui relie le corps à l’action selon une pensée instrumentale singulière au regard de la tradition aristotélicienne. Avec Bergson, la perception n’est pas un phénomène passif, elle est bien au contraire liée à l’action. Percevoir c’est déjà s’engager dans le monde, dans le possible et l’image. Deuxièmement, cette instrumentalité n’est pas déterministe. Il y a un décalage entre les causes et les effets lié à l’intervalle même que nous sommes. La diachronie est un élément constitutif de la perception et de l’action. Enfin, la notion de centre d’indétermination qui définit le vivant n’est-elle pas au coeur d’une esthétique bergsonienne de l’interactivité?
