Abstract
Abstract Multiple Fluid Solid Non‐Catalytic (FSNC) reactions have been analyzed in a single particle based on sharp interface model (SIM) using Finite Volume Method (FVM), which is shown to be a suitable technique for solving moving boundary problems involving multiple chemical reactions and diffusion. The effect of various model parameters, like the order of reaction, Thiele modulus, thermicity and Arrhenius parameters, c 20 / c 10 , are found to have significant effects on independent, parallel and consecutive reactions.
