Abstract
Cet article propose un éclairage sur l'attentat ayant frappé le 28 avril 2011 un café situé sur la Place Jemaa el-Fna, haut lieu touristique et patrimonial de Marrakech. Comprendre les impacts de cet événement nécessite d'une part d'aborder la complexité du lieu (ses symboliques, ses usages, ses acteurs) et d'autre part de décrypter le contexte politique particulier dans lequel il s'est produit (printemps marocain). L'analyse permet de mettre en exergue trois types d'impacts : socioéconomique (baisse de la fréquentation touristique), identitaire (exacerbation des tensions) et politique (accélération des réformes au niveau national).
