Abstract
Résumé Le centre de thérapie familiale « Context » de l’université de Louvain connaît une longue tradition de thérapie de couples en groupe. De plus, notre expérience avec des groupes multifamiliaux dans les états dépressifs du patient adulte nous a démontré les avantages d’un travail en groupe tant pour les familles que pour les couples (Migerode et Lemmens, 2007). La synthèse de la Thérapie centrée sur les émotions du professeur canadien, Susan Johnson, (Emotionally Focused Therapy – EFT – 2004) et de notre expérience du travail en groupe nous amena à développer une nouvelle approche de la thérapie de couple où la systémique, le dialogue, les émotions, et surtout les sentiments d’amour guident la thérapie. Ce programme, intitulé « sortir de l’impasse », qui se déroule sur cinq mercredis, est décrit dans cet article.
