La contagion Conceptions et pratiques dans la société alladian de Côte-d'Ivoire Sur la base d'une recherche ethnographique en cours chez les Alladian de Côte-d'Ivoire, nous discutons de leurs conceptions et pratiques relatives à la transmission des maladies. L'explication alladian de la contagion relie la parole, le regard, les produits d'excrétion, le manquement aux règles sociales et les connaissances empiriques au sein d'une approche complexe. La contagion fait sens pour les Alladian lorsque sont mis en rapport pensée empirique et pensée analogique, classifications symboliques et organisation sociale, conceptions de la personne et du corps. Sont aussi examinés les problèmes que pose la rencontre des conceptions alladian de la contagion avec le système occidental d'explication.
