Abstract
Faisant suite à leur premier article recensant la littérature concernant la théorie de cycle de vie familiale, les auteurs présentent une étude effectuée auprès d’une population clinique d’adolescents anorexiques. L’objectif de celle-ci vise à identifier, chez des familles comprenant un (e) adolescent (e) anorexique (e) (n = 9), les différentes tâches développementales difficilement résolues en les comparant à un échantillon de familles issues d’un groupe comparatif populationnel (n = 11). Les résultats démontrent que les familles d’anorexiques sont davantage exposées à des échecs dans leurs tâches développementales familiales. Egalement, les difficultés développementales s’accroissent en nombre plus la famille évolue dans le temps. Enfin, les échecs développementaux caractérisant les familles d’anorexiques peuvent être regroupés autour de certains thèmes, dont notamment le couple parental, l’autonomisation et la socialisation des enfants.
