Le présent travail, basé sur les différentes techniques de traitement des données gravimétriques couvrant le Maroc nord-oriental (gradient horizontal, prolongement vers le haut, déconvolution d’Euler), a permis de mettre en évidence les différentes structures géologiques présentes dans la région (faille, bassin, diapir…), qui sont parfois partiellement ou totalement masquées par la couverture sédimentaire. Une carte structurale du secteur a été dressée à partir de ces résultats, qui confirme l’existence de failles déjà reconnues ou supposées par les études structurales classiques en précisant leur tracé et pendages, et met en évidence de nouveaux accidents profonds ou superficiels, restés inconnus jusqu’à nos jours. Les accidents les plus profonds sont orientés essentiellement suivant deux directions : N080°–085° et N055°–065°, avec une dominance de cette dernière famille ; leur profondeur peut aller jusqu’à 4500 m. Les directions N080°–085° correspondent aux failles de Kebdana, de Sidi Bouhouria, de Naima et de Guefait, et les directions N055°–065° correspondent à la faille de Ras El Ma (parallèle à la côte méditerranéenne) et aux failles de Moulouya, de Madagh, d’Angad et des Zekkara.
