Abstract
La dynamique sous-jacente au soutien des personnes âgées est ici explorée. Un cadre théorique a d'abord été construit et a permis de concevoir les deux logiques sociales auxquelles cette dynamique se rattache, à savoir la prise en charge et la privatisation. L'auteur étudie les rapports entre ces deux logiques de même que les formes de support dont ont bénéficié et bénéficient les Québécois âgés.
