Abstract
Il s'agit d'une recherche réalisée auprès de sept sorcières néo-païennes francophones du Québec. Alors que la sorcellerie (Wicca, Vieille Religion) connaît une popularité croissante chez les anglophones, elle commence à peine à être connue parmi les francophones. Trois conclusions peuvent être tirées de cette première enquête : tout d'abord, les sorcières font un lien entre le spirituel et le politique parce que tous deux concernent notre façon d'entrer en relation avec l'autre; ensuite, elles considèrent le divin comme féminin, et le Retour de la Déesse semble avoir des effets profonds sur leur rapport au sacré; finalement, le corps constitue pour les femmes le lieu par excellence de réappropriation de leurs pouvoirs spirituels, au moyen de rituels. Dans l'ensemble, cette nouvelle pratique religieuse donne peut-être des indices sur ce que serait un imaginaire féminin.
