Abstract
Abstract Summary: We present optical emission spectroscopy studies of atmospheric pressure glow discharges in flowing pure helium (He), and He/nitrogen (N 2 ) mixtures. Two different metallic high‐voltage electrode geometries have been examined, namely needle and cylindrical, the grounded dielectric‐covered electrode being planar. The axial and radial distributions of gas temperature have been evaluated from rotational spectra of molecular nitrogen ion emissions as a function of the electrode geometries, the gap spacings and the partial pressure of N 2 in He. Also, the spatiotemporal distribution of discharge species in the needle‐plane geometry and the link between gas temperature and light emission intensity are presented. The physical interpretations of these results are discussed with reference to recent work reported by the present authors and by others. Axial and time‐dependent intensity distribution of the total light emission during the positive voltage half‐cycle, across a needle‐ (dielectric) plane gap. magnified image Axial and time‐dependent intensity distribution of the total light emission during the positive voltage half‐cycle, across a needle‐ (dielectric) plane gap.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
