En 2006, une découverte fortuite mit au jour des peintures murales de la fin du Moyen Âge dans l’église de Saint-Antonin-Pont d’Arratz construite au XVe siècle par l’ordre des Antonins pour accueillir les pèlerins allant à Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. La peinture représente des scènes de la vie de saint Blaise : convocation du saint par le gouverneur païen, miracle du porc rendu à la pauvre veuve, emprisonnement de saint Blaise, puis son martyre. L’originalité vient de la présence de légendes en occitan qui racontent les scènes. Vers le bas apparaît une peinture plus ancienne figurant saint Georges luttant contre le dragon.
