An outstanding SEG workshop on deep-gas resources was held in Muscat, Oman, on 3–5 November 2014. Seventy-five professionals attended from 14 countries, predominantly from the Middle East but also from around the world. The objective of the workshop was to bring geoscientists together to meet and exchange their experiences and views on geophysical-technology applications in exploiting deep-gas resources.
