Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Using the context of international study tour groups, this study examined the personal and professionaltransformation that occurred among host faculty and staff at The University of Montana-Missoula as a result oftheir interactions with traveling academics from other countries. Data were collected from participant responses(n=27) using a mixed-methods design, utilizing a quantitative survey while simultaneously embeddingqualitative questions. Quantitative responses to the survey were analyzed with descriptive statistics to generatekey findings. Thematic coding strategies were applied to the qualitative responses in order to inform and helpfurther explain the quantitative data, thereby providing greater clarity in addressing the research questions thatframed this study. Findings from the analyses provided evidence that participants experienced increasedinspiration and desire for self-improvement, self-discovery, and ultimately transformation. Given the reportedfindings, it behooves institutions of higher education to actively seek out intercultural experiences by hostinginternational study tour groups.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
