Abstract
L’entrée aux études collégiales n’est pas synonyme d’intégration et de réussite pour tous. Le présent article porte sur une population étudiante fragilisée, inscrite dans un dispositif de transition au cégep (la session d’accueil et d’intégration – SAI), pour qui la persévérance aux études est incertaine. Deux cohortes étudiantes (2009, n = 977 et 2010, n = 966) ont été suivies du secondaire jusqu’à dix-huit mois après leur entrée au cégep. L’enquête a permis de cerner la morphologie de parcours étudiants débutant par la SAI, en soulignant les difficultés particulières, mais aussi leur atténuation au fil du temps pour une certaine partie de cette population étudiante.
