Dans le cadre d’une réflexion sur les organisations de santé, nous présentons les résultats d’une revue de littérature portant sur les dynamiques organisationnelles et communicationnelles qui caractérisent ces organisations. Cette thématique de recherche, qui relève de ce que nous proposons de nommer la « communication organisationnelle et santé », est définie par des problématiques particulières, ainsi que par sa portée pratique, c’est-à-dire par la volonté de comprendre les enjeux auxquels font quotidiennement face les organisations de santé et proposer des démarches et interprétations pour les adresser. En réfléchissant aux orientations de la recherche dans ce domaine et en nous basant sur une approche constitutive de la communication organisationnelle, nous proposons d’élargir la définition d’organisation de santé aux processus organisants qui en seraient constitutifs, soit le « health organizing ».
