Abstract
Cet article analyse la représentation du droit et de l’homme de droit dans Les fruits si doux de l’arbre à pain de Tchicaya U’Tamsi, roman dans lequel le personnage principal est un juge. Le premier objectif est de problématiser les rapports d’homologie ou d’opposition entre la fiction littéraire et le droit en tant que ce dernier se présente comme un discours à prétention scientifique. Le deuxième objectif est de montrer, par le biais de l’analyse de la trajectoire de Raymond Poaty, le héros de Tchicaya, que le droit et l’homme de droit peuvent trouver en la fiction littéraire un miroir ou un espace de réflexivité qui leur permet d’échapper aux tautologies intradisciplinaires.
