Abstract
Cet article repose sur un travail de recherche sur la correspondance de lecteurs-voyageurs avec le guide de Lonely Planet. Un type sera plus particulièrement analysé ici — le grégaire — un lecteur ayant la fâcheuse tendance à suivre à la lettre les prescriptions du livre. Se dessine à travers ce personnage singulier les différents jeux d’interactions pouvant se dérouler entre un support, un lecteur et une réalité environnante. La lecture d’un guide n’est pas forcément chose anodine, le guide influence et offre des modèles qui pour certains n’en sont pas moins des modèles à reproduire à l’identique.
