Miller supplies, as a prose translation, “I warn you, Icarus, to fly in a middle course” (Ovid 421). 2. In fact this ode begins with an Icarian allusion as Horace's speaker warns Licinius to strike a balance between the open sea and the shoreline. Thus, “auream quisquis mediocritatem/diligit, tutus caret obsoleti /sordibus tecti” (2.10.5–7), which C. E. Bennett translates as “Whoso cherishes the golden mean, safely avoids the foulness of an ill-kept house” (Horace 131). 3. According to Thomas Heath's translation of Euclid, “a straight line is said to have been cut in extreme and mean ratio when, as the whole line is to the greater segment, so is the greater to the less” (Euclid 188). For example, if we think of the original line as having unit length 1, Euclid's proposition would divide the line into two pieces of length a and b so that the following proportion exists:

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
