Abstract
Résumé En 1991, Michel Berry brossait un tableau pessimiste de l’entrée des jeunes consultants dans la profession de conseil. L’auteur justifiait sa position en soulignant leur manque d’expérience pratique. Toutefois, ceux qui adhèrent à cette vision oublient que le contexte sociopolitique et économique des années 1970 ne ressemblait guère à celui d’aujourd’hui. Autrement dit, l’environnement concurrentiel est devenu de plus en plus turbulent. Pas une semaine ne se passe sans que les médias annoncent une mégafusion entre grandes entreprises. Cela a eu pour effet de créer une augmentation de la demande de consultants en services conseils, que ce soit sur le marché national ou sur le marché international. Résultat, nous avons assisté à l’arrivée massive de jeunes consultants dans la profession de conseil.
