Abstract
L’article expose les résultats d’une enquête sur l’explicitation des savoirs d’expérience développés dans les organismes communautaires qui offrent des services de main-d’oeuvre à des personnes dites « défavorisées sur le plan de l’emploi »1. Il met en évidence certains écarts qui existent entre les modèles prescrits de services pour lesquels les organismes sont financés par l’État et le travail réel, mais souvent invisible et non reconnu, qui se fait sur le terrain. Les résultats de cette recherche montrent comment les intervenants ont dû renoncer aux discours idéalistes pour devenir des spécialistes avertis de l’insertion limitée et des contraintes à l’insertion.
