Abstract
Les études récentes sur les valeurs inscrivent la famille parmi les valeurs les plus importantes pour les jeunes provenant de différentes parties du monde. Cet article veut explorer et décrire le sens que revêt la valeur « famille » à l’adolescence. Pourquoi est-elle donc si importante pour les jeunes? L’analyse prend appui sur les données d’une étude plus vaste sur les valeurs des jeunes québécois. Les résultats documentent les représentations que les jeunes entretiennent à l’égard de la famille, décrivent leurs projets familiaux ainsi que les relations qu’ils entretiennent avec leurs parents.
