Abstract
Différentes typologies des chansons ont jusqu’à ce jour été établies. Elles tiennent compte notamment de la thématique, de l’héritage esthétique, des types de refrain, etc. La typologie de cet article délaisse les critères thématiques afin de mettre en relief les métissages entre la chanson signée (auteur et/ou compositeur connu et né dans un contexte éditorial) et la chanson de tradition orale (qui circule par la transmission orale). Ces métissages sont basés sur les processus de diffusion, de réception et de création des objets-chansons. Dans ce cadre, il a semblé important à l’auteur de créer une terminologie adéquate permettant de tenir compte de l’ensemble des objets-chansons, du Moyen Âge à nos jours. Les exemples sont essentiellement puisés à la culture francophone.
