Abstract
L'analyse qualitative de soixante entrevues réalisées auprès de jeunes adultes itinérants sur la dimension relationnelle de leur expérience permet une conceptualisation de la construction des itinéraires qui tient compte de deux versants contrastés, étroitement interreliés au sein de l'expérience affective d'itinérance : d'une part la rupture posée comme nécessaire à la survie ; d'autre part la hantise de liens dénoncés comme néfastes mais tenus pour indispensables. On peut envisager ces deux versants comme les forces dynamiques d'un engrenage où le refus de renoncer sous-tend les parcours de quête et d'errance.
