Abstract
Cet essai de théologie pratique met en relation, tente d’ inter-dire des discours sur la foi en Jésus, le Christ, versus des formes d’expression actuelles de l’imaginaire public, en l’occurrence le cinéma. Mondes séparés. Comme ceux de la théologie fondamentale et de la théologie pratique. Comme ceux de Philippe et d’André, ces deux frères, protagonistes du work in progress de Robert Lepage, La face cachée de la lune . Éternels rivaux, ils passent leur vie à tenter de se distinguer l’un de l’autre, alors qu’au fond, ils partagent la même fragilité. Une lecture théologique de leur réconciliation permet de voir de nouveaux cas de figures de la parabole des deux frères (le plus souvent appelée parabole du fils prodigue), voire du récit des deux disciples d’Emmaüs.
