Abstract
Tout comme le progrès des sciences sociales, celui des sciences apparaît étroitement dépendant de la transformation de la structure sociale québécoise, transformation qui exige et provoque l'explosion du système universitaire québécois francophone, la réorganisation de l'État provincial et la restructuration des rapports entre les champs scientifique, religieux, politique et économique : l'acquisition pour l'activité scientifique d'une plus grande centralité au sein de la siociété québécoise est en effet liée non tant aux efforts répétés du Gouvernement fédéral qu'à ces diverses mutations structurelles. Et ce n'est qu'à ce moment que gagnent en complexité les stratégies des chercheurs et des scientifiques des universités québécoises francophone!" pour promouvoir la science, obtenir des ressources plus importantes et accéder à des positions supérieures.
