Entre le religieux, le juridique et le politique : l'éthique Réflexions sur la nature du rigorisme moral promu et sanctionné par les assemblées villageoises de Grande Kabylie La recomposition du tissu identitaire ne se fait pas en Grande Kabylie sous le signe du religieux non plus que la mobilisation politique partisane de type moderne, ainsi qu'ont pu le confirmer récemment les élections municipales et le premier tour des législatives. En revanche, la région connaît aussi des accès de rigorisme moral. Ce rigorisme moral qui, au-delà de l'activité municipale des communautés villageoises, imprègne l'essentiel de la vie politique en Kabylie, est apparemment proche de l'éthique de l'islamisme radical. Il en est pourtant très éloigné sous de nombreux rapports. La multiplicité des foyers de légitimité dont s'autorise explicitement ce rigorisme (l'invocation des « traditions » locales, de l'honneur gentilice et de l'islam) témoigne, d'une part, de l'atypisme de la Kabylie au sein de l'Algérie contemporaine et, d'autre part, de la diversité des expressions politiques possibles de l'éthique rigoriste du siècle en Algérie.
