Abstract
Le Musée des moulages de l’Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, créé en 1890 dans un but pédagogique, comprend une collection de près de 700 copies d’œuvres de l’art antique et médiéval classée au titre des Monuments historiques en 2009. D’autres collections sont également associées au musée, notamment un fonds photographique et une collection d’objets antiques grecs et romains. Un projet de rénovation de grande envergure a commencé en 2009, encore en cours, qui comporte la réhabilitation du bâtiment qui héberge le musée, la restauration des moulages, le recensement et la conservation de l’ensemble des collections du musée, la conception et l’installation d’une nouvelle muséographie.
