Abstract
Abstract Im Jahre 1926 begründete Max Born die Wahrscheinlichkeitsinterpretation der Quantenmechanik. Er erkannte, dass das Quadrat der Wellenfunktionsamplitude eines quantenmechanischen Teilchens oder Photons dessen Aufenthaltswahrscheinlichkeit angibt. Der berühmte Doppelspaltversuch ist eine direkte Konsequenz daraus. Die Bornsche Regel besagt, dass Interferenz immer von zwei Wegen herrührt. Bislang wurde nie nachgeprüft, ob es nicht auch Interferenz über mehr als zwei Wege gibt, was eine schwere Verletzung der Quantenmechanik wäre. Unsere Gruppe in Kanada konnte nun eine Dreiwege‐Interferenz mit gewisser Genauigkeit ausschließen.
