Abstract
Résumé Cet article étudie l'oeuvre du poète québécois Albert Lozeau (1878-1924) en la situant dans le cadre de l'évolution de la versification française du romantisme au symbolisme. Héritier des recherches du symbolisme français visant une libération du vers régulier, Lozeau a développé une technique du vers marquée par l'utilisation de trimètres variés et par un emploi complexe des enjambements sur la césure. Il a ainsi créé un vers musical remarquable par sa fluidité, son expressivité et sa douceur murmurée.
