Abstract
Les fondations de la « nouvelle philanthropie » portent un regard critique sur l’organisation sociale et sur l’action politique et tendent à imposer une nouvelle manière de gérer le social. Au Québec, la Fondation Lucie et André Chagnon s’inscrit dans la logique de ce mouvement. Les recherches effectuées à son sujet ont permis de faire ressortir quelques-uns des impacts de sa présence sur les acteurs du terrain de l’action sociale et communautaire. La situation constatée reflète une nouvelle logique d’action qui correspond à de nouveaux paradigmes que l’on retrouve à la fois dans le champ scientifique et dans le champ de la gouvernance, et qui concurrencent ceux sur lesquels reposent des années de pratiques de terrain.
